Dear ALL
Even If we Invest Right Horse, Let it be 30 Paise or 300 times, We have to Pass on this Hurdles before encasing the amount of our Investment if ANY.
1) Connection Should have a Pat on the Back of the Horse (Some times this we may notice through Tote Indication / Odds or any other way)
2) Sudden Change of Equipment of other horse may impact our horse
3) Sudden Change of Black Dress (Jockey) of this horse will impact the chances.
4) Horses Should go to Stall without any Disturbance.
5) While Entering into the Stall Horse should go with trim. If any disturbance it will definitely have less chance.
6) Sudden With drawn of any other Horse may impact our horse.
7) While Running the Race (There should not be any obstacle like Lame / Jockey Fall Down / Lung Opener etc)
8) Even if our Horse won we have to wait for 5 Minutes for ALL Clear
9) Once we give our ticket to the operator She will tell this is not winning Ticket, than when we notice it will be different number which we might not have noticed while purchasing.
10)Especially when we have 2 Centers on the Same Day Example: When we tell Hyd Race 4 win Operation will type Bombay 4 win.(This has happen to so many punters)
am not Blaming Operators, I Respect them. Due to Heavy Rush this kind of thing will happen and we also miss it out to check due to various reason.
No Guarantee till we encashed our Investment ........
Positive Feedback are most Welcome

@speed
you are correct in pointing the pointers regarding the slip between cup and the lip possibilities
yes there are hurdles which we have no control
as per buying tickets in the tote with correct number of the horse if we are little bit clued to oneness,
with awareness, we can simply avoid this flaw,
what i do honestly most of the days
i write up action plan of the day in my note book
which i carry
with me to the race course
and then i give written notes to the counter clerk to print my tickets
honestly it is better to do this action prior to the start of the first race
all the tickets
for all win ,shp
only a double or treble bet i wait to encash and then play it
in fact i will be the first person to click the ticket after the race over for each race in case my play is successful
it is good to have written plan of action
this helps me to know , my total investment for the day
is it compatible with my betting unit.
the fun is the mind is not stressed
and there is zero error in printing the ticket
the tote counter attendant is after all a human with stress and pain,
so if we say numbers there is a possibility for he/she to listen in different way.
to avoid just write a slip
on top of race no
horse no
how many tickets
total money
this will avoid absolutely all the flaw as per buying the correct ticket.
even then just as a precaution
double check the printed ticket
for your nominations
as per the rest
you can not do any thing
except accepting the probability
remember 80-20 law
and i am sure many will have different view
it will be a delight to know it
thanks
Dear Easwaran
Thanks
Yes you are right but I have missed one sentence which has been added.
"

Hi Srikant
I can tell you one incident happened at Ranigunj tote around 9 years back when I was just in my second year of racing. On that day there was two IVB's i.e. of Bangalore & Madras. One gentleman was playing Horse No.2 ridden by Satish Narredu (4th or 5th favourite). He asked for tickets of Rs.100X20 for win(Rs.2000/-) for that but (un)fortunately for him the operator gave him tickets of Madras races horse no.2 ridden by Rajendra Singh. After the commentary he went to that operator cursing her that because of her badluck the Horse No.2 at bangalore came second and thrown all the tickets at her face. Then the supervisor of tote came there and told that gentleman that the tickets which thrown by him are not of bangalore and it is of madras and in madras races which held after 10mts time the Horse No.2 won and the dividend paid Rs.120/- for win for a fiver.
I remember this because it happend in front of me. I think it is called the luck of the race.
Thanks for your nice write up and excellent selections (always)
Santhosh
